Best 10 unusual places to stay in Cornwall

> Lesley Gillilan, the author of the Best of Britain Guide to Cornwall and Scilly Isles, reveals her favourite odd and quirky places to bed down in England's far south west.

Shepherd's Hut - Moyles Farm, St Minver, PL27 6QT

"For holidays a deux there's nowhere quite like this compact rustic hut, once used to shelter duty shepherds during lambing. It lives on a farm within hiking distance of the surfing beach at Polzeath and offers a king-size double bed, woodburner, small stove and not much else, except a camp-fire pit outside, and a private bathroom a few yards away."

> "Trip Advisor" accolades...

"Extremely nicely converted, with excellent quality of everything"
"The bedding was to die for- like sleeping on a cloud"
"Exceptionally clean"
"Its really true that the only sound you can hear is the bird song"
"What a fantastic place to stay, absolutely perfect. The Location- stunning. Accommodation was first class and Amanda and Mark are perfect hosts"
"Best cottage in Cornwall- or possibly Britain"

Moyles Farm is located near to Polzeath beach and 5 minutes from Rock and Padstow on the beautiful North Cornish coast.

The property lies hidden away in an idyllic and private location nestling in open farmland, yet it is ideally situated to enable guests to explore all that Cornwall offers.
